With more than 20 years of experience, I have learned to empower my clients with the proper tools to first survive the upheaval, then heal & thrive. I believe the mind, body, and spirit are all connected. The key to a healthy life is BALANCE. Each person has the ability to achieve this & by utilizing the body and spirit through different modalities, it is facilitated even faster. I provide a safe, nurturing, and compassionate environment that promotes healing & growth through different expressions including hypnotherapy, yoga & meditation. I work on focus, awareness, and energy together with each client to help create a healthier balance.

Divorce, Betrayal, Loss, and Adolescence share a common thread. These situations can turn our world upside down and present challenges which require us to learn new ways of coping and adapting.I specialize in working with clients to help alleviate sadness, anxiety and depression by working with other modalities when talk therapy alone is not enough.

I help couples restore better communication and redevelop bonds that seem to have faded. When a divorce is necessary, I am a Coach, Mediator & parent-and-child specialist . I have been a Child Custody Evaluator for over 15 years. I work collaboratively with lawyers to help create a non-litigious divorce.

I assess my client’s stated problems and/or presenting symptoms and the effects that these are having on their lives. I also assess my client’s strengths, assisting them to look beyond their vulnerabilities and the problems in their lives, to their strengths and their resilience. This often has the result of minimizing their symptoms, improving their view of themselves and their relationships, and freeing them to accomplish their goals in life.

By helping adults navigate through the divorce process to see hope at the end of the tunnel, I teach parents how to communicate with each other effectively on behalf of their children, how to talk to their children about the changes taking place in their families, and how to make this transition as least traumatic as possible. By consulting with the parents or seeing the children directly, I advocate for the children involved. I help children express their feelings to a neutral person, and then to their parents so their needs can be better met.
